European Joint Module (EJM): Is an integral part of the LI curriculum and it corresponds to the Intensive Workshops (IWS) that are based primarily on artistic-scientific transfer of knowledge. The European Joint Module is mandatory for all students of the Ludic Interfaces programme at all partner universities. It will be carried out at the end of the first semester. The Joint Module will last for three weeks, each week at a different partner university. The Joint Module allows the students to get to know, understand and discover the partner universities and to meet their peers abroad. The Joint Workshop will primarily be structured according to the topics that are conveyed at each partner university. The Joint Module will introduce infrastructural and practical factors that are relevant for the studies, for artistic-scientific opportunities and various work fields. Excursions to media partners and other external organizations will be locally organized.
Intensive Workshop (IWS): Is an integral part of the LI curriculum and it corresponds to the European Joint Module (EJM). The Intensive Workshops are based primarily on artistic-scientific transfer of knowledge between the partner universities. Each partner university will organize one Intensive Workshop for each generation of students. The special characteristic of intensive workshops lies in the fact that they allow students to implement together specific expert knowledge and practical elements in the field of ludic interfaces within a project-based approach. This unique characteristic is strengthened through the research and theory preparatory phase before the workshop and the assessment phase after the workshop, in which contents and goals are linked specifically to the project implementation steps. These steps include: research, theory, planning, brainstorming, realisation and implementation methods, material science, development, reporting, documentation and transfer of project-related knowledge.
